Catholic Charities Diocese of Des Moines is seeking a Case Aide to support refugee-focused services within the Community Resource Coordination (CRC) program. You will perform clerical tasks, maintain case files, and assist with housing and employment support for CRC clients.

The role emphasizes accuracy, confidentiality, and teamwork to help clients access housing, employment, and essential services. Some travel and background checks may be required.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent; 3-6 months related job experience and/or training.
• Understanding of basic office procedures and administrative tasks.
• Familiarity with data entry and document management systems.
• Awareness of refugee resettlement process preferred.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask.

Aufgaben

• Process client mail daily by copying important documents and recording key information in electronic case files.
• Organize documentation for contracted interpreters as necessary.
• Update client information in web-based databases.
• Conduct outreach to landlords in Des Moines metro area to establish housing partnerships.
• Coordinate housing-related activities including move-ins and utilities setup.
• Assist clients with resume building and transportation orientation for employment.
