Job summary

Granite Recovery Center seeks a Recovery Support Specialist to provide daily observation and support for patients in a Residential Treatment Facility. You will document in EMR, encourage attendance at groups, and help coordinate medical and clinical appointments.

Responsibilities include maintaining logs, transporting patients as needed, and assisting with education and support groups. A HS diploma, valid license, and clear background are required to work in a multi-cultural setting dedicated to

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with substance abuse and co-occurring disorders preferred.
• Clear UDS and criminal history required.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license expected.
• Satisfactory references and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Maintain hourly observation checks and document in EMR.
• Complete EMR notes during the shift in a timely, clear manner.
• Ensure patients attend groups and appointments; monitor group attendance.
• Record attendance sheets and file copies with facilitator and office.
• Transport patients to hospital or off-site appointments as needed.
• Stock supply closet and assist with crisis intervention when assigned.
