Job summary

FSA Federal seeks a Records Examiner/Analyst to support the ATF mission by reviewing data from multiple sources, ensuring completeness, and entering information into databases. The role emphasizes accuracy, reporting, and timely updates within a federal records environment.

Ideal candidates have an undergraduate degree or equivalent experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage case files and deadlines in a team setting.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree, or High School Diploma/GED and two-years' experience.
• One-year experience in asset forfeiture or a field related to law enforcement.
• Ability to grasp and understand the organization and functions of the customer.
• Demonstratable project and workload management skills.
• Excellent communication skills; oral and written.
• Competence to review, interpret, evaluate, and extract data from complex documents.
• Intermediate to advanced skills with Microsoft Office and other common software.

Responsibilities

• Reviews and evaluates data and information from multiple sources.
• Confirms completeness of data and resolves inconsistencies.
• Enters data into databases, documents, or spreadsheets.
• Creates case/project files and manages file status deadlines.
• Manages requests for additional information as needed.
• Prepares reports, summaries, and replies to inquiries with accuracy.
• Manipulates, transfers, computes and prints information.
• Provides accurate and timely status updates.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
