Lebanon School District is seeking an Intervention Support Specialist to help students improve literacy and math skills in a collaborative school setting. You will work with teachers, literacy coaches, and principals to implement targeted strategies and monitor progress.

The role is temporary, part-time (4 hours/day, 164 days) for the 2026-2027 year, with salaries of $37/hr for those with a PA teaching certificate and $35/hr for others with a bachelor’s degree.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• PDE certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with classroom teachers to develop and deliver strategies for literacy and math skills.
• Work directly with individual students or small groups for targeted support.
• Use instructional strategies and learning technologies to boost growth.
• Track student progress and maintain confidential performance data.
• Collaborate with staff, literacy coaches, and administrators on student needs and strategies.
• Become proficient with intervention software and tools used for learning.
• Maintain a positive, inclusive environment for every student.
