Job summary

Lebanon School District is seeking an Intervention Support Specialist to help students improve literacy and math skills in a collaborative school setting. You will work with teachers, literacy coaches, and principals to implement targeted strategies and monitor progress.

The role is temporary, part-time (4 hours/day, 164 days) for the 2026-2027 year, with salaries of $37/hr for those with a PA teaching certificate and $35/hr for others with a bachelor’s degree.

• Use innovative instructional strategies and learning technologies to boost student growth
• Track student progress and keep performance data organized and confidential
• Collaborate regularly with staff, building coaches, and administrators to discuss student needs and share effective strategies
• Become an expert in intervention software and tools that promote learning
• Maintain a positive, inclusive, and supportive environment for every student

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree (required)
• Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) certification (preferred)
