Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive interviews for assistance and determine initial and ongoing eligibility.
• Verify financial information and collect necessary data from clients.
• Process assigned benefit programs and maintain electronic files and caseload data.
• Communicate with clients in writing, in person, and by phone.
• Assess client needs using community resources and make referrals.
• Prepare case summaries for appeals and testify at hearings.
• Investigate potential fraud and determine continued eligibility.
• Track program statistics monthly and manage shifting priorities.
