Job summary

Cascadia EE LLC is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support residents in a long-term care setting in Tacoma. You will work under a licensed Physical Therapist to help regain movement and reduce pain through prescribed exercises and manual therapy.

Responsibilities include ambulation support, documenting care, and implementing therapy plans while maintaining safety and compliance. Prior LTC experience is preferred and CPR certification is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited PTA program.
• Current state PTA licensure and CPR certification.
• Six months experience in long-term care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ambulation and mobility.
• Implement treatment plans created by physical therapists.
• Assess patient health and document therapy histories.
• Perform therapeutic procedures and supervise exercises.
• Instruct patients on regimens and wellness.
• Document care in patient records.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and infection control.
• Ensure punctuality and attendance for shifts.
