Job summary

The University of Chicago is seeking a Program Manager to oversee non-credit professional development certificates and offerings. You will coordinate course scheduling, instructor contracting, student records, onboarding, advising, and Canvas course support, ensuring a high-quality learner experience.

Reporting to senior leadership, you will support growth of programs, manage communications, and collaborate with enrollment teams to optimize student outcomes and program visibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 2–5 years of related work experience.
• Experience in higher education or professional development is a plus.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the full student lifecycle from admission to program completion.
• Maintain accurate student records in registration and information systems.
• Provide academic advising and program guidance on requirements and sequencing.
• Manage course enrollment and timely program communications.
• Coordinate Canvas course sites, assignments, and instructional support.
