Job summary

Mentor Community Services, a Sevita program in Bakersfield, CA, seeks a Program Director to lead IDD services and manage multiple programs. You will oversee day-to-day operations, direct supports, person-centered planning, and regulatory compliance while supporting staff and individuals served.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Human Services and at least 1 year of program director experience with the DD population.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Services is required.
• 1 year Program Director experience required.
• 1 year experience working with DD population required.
• Other education, experience, training, licensure, or certification per state requirements or as required by applicable regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of one to four programs in a community.
• Organize and implement direct supports, person-centered planning, and regulatory compliance.
• Manage program staff including evaluations, scheduling, and orientation.
• Make recommendations on hires, transfers, promotions, and terminations.
• Ensure services are delivered consistently, engaging and relevant to individuals served.
• Be available on-call to support staff and cover shifts as needed.
