Job summary

kSARIA seeks a hands-on manufacturing engineer to develop processes for new products and support production of military cable assemblies. You will report to the Process Engineering Supervisor and help assess customer cable designs.

Responsibilities include training the production team, establishing procedures, designing tooling, supporting new bids, and driving cost reductions while upholding quality and safety standards. Strong English skills required.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record as a manufacturing engineer with military cable assembly products.
  • Knowledge of fiber optic termination processes (training provided).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Detail oriented and quality metric driven.
  • U.S. Citizenship required for DoD work.
  • Advanced MS Office skills (Word, Excel).
  • Experience with drawing tools such as Visio, AutoCAD or SolidWorks.
  • Familiarity with IPC-620 and IPC-610 standards.

Responsibilities

  • Provide training, support, and supervision to production team.
  • Establish standard assembly and test procedures for manufacture of cable assemblies.
  • Design and analyzes tooling and fixtures needed for manufacturing.
  • Support proposal activity for new customers and products.
  • Create and implement new processes to increase factory efficiency.
  • Collaborate with management to set and assess priorities.
  • Assess cost effectiveness and feasibility of processes; implement cost-reduction measures.
  • Supervise tooling operations, ensuring quality and safety standards.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
