Job summary

AmerCable is seeking a Process Engineer to develop, optimize, and sustain manufacturing processes that ensure quality, safety, and operational excellence. You will improve process efficiency, support cost-effective production, and drive continuous improvement initiatives through technical expertise and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (preferred).
• 5 years of experience in the manufacturing industry preferred.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills across teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement best practices to improve production rates and product quality.
• Create, maintain, and improve process documentation with a focus on safety.
• Develop and maintain a quality manual aligned with API standards.
• Provide technical process engineering support to production for safety and environmental performance.
• Identify and communicate operational issues to management and report cost/schedule impacts.
• Assist in design reviews and project feasibility assessments.
• Develop and monitor KPIs to control inefficiencies and drive improvements.
• Prepare detailed reports and present insights to peers and management.
