Job summary

ChenMed is seeking a Primary Care Physician (PCP) to provide comprehensive care for adults, managing a panel of up to 450 patients. You will collaborate with a care team, refer to specialists as needed, and engage with hospitalist partners to coordinate inpatient care.

We value accountability, health coaching, and cost-effective, evidence-based medicine. MD or DO in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Geriatrics is required, with eligibility for state licensure and DEA number.

Qualifications

• MD or DO in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Geriatrics.
• Must obtain State Medical License or already hold active license.
• Board certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine or Geriatrics preferred; board eligibility considered.
• Current DEA number for schedule II–V controlled substances.
• BLS certification required within first 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care for acute and chronic conditions in adults.
• Lead and collaborate with the care team including APPs and coordinators.
• Coordinate care with hospitalists and other specialists as needed.
• Engage in risk and quality management programs and meetings.
• Support center and market leadership to meet performance goals.
