Job summary

Enhance Rehabilitation in Sauget, IL, seeks a qualified physical therapy assistant to join our dynamic team. Working under the guidance of a physical therapist, you will help treat patients by following individualized plans of care developed by Physical Therapists.

You will contribute to quality outcomes, assist in developing treatment programs, support all phases of therapy, document patient progress, coordinate with therapists and staff, and operate standard PT equipment to support patient

Responsibilities

• Ensure every patient receives quality treatment resulting in excellent functional outcomes.
• With assistance of physical therapist, develop and implement physical therapy treatment programs based on each patient's particular needs.
• Assist patients with all phases of physical therapy treatment and techniques.
• Discuss treatment with patients and record patient conditions and responses to treatments in charts after each visit.
• Provide continuous communication with Physical Therapist, Director or Rehab, and facility staff.
• Operate and apply knowledge of standard physical therapy equipment.
