Job summary

Enhance Rehabilitation is seeking qualified physical therapy assistant candidates to join our dynamic team in Hillside, Illinois. You will work under the guidance of a physical therapist, helping treat patients according to an individualized plan of care.

You will assist in developing and implementing treatment programs, support patients through all phases of therapy, and document patient progress while maintaining clear communication with the PT, rehab director, and facility staff.

Qualifications

• Assist patients under supervision of a Physical Therapist.
• Record patient conditions and responses to treatments.
• Communicate with Physical Therapist and staff about patient progress.

Responsibilities

• Assist treating patients by following an individualized plan of care developed by Physical Therapists.
• Develop and implement physical therapy treatment programs based on each patient's needs.
• Assist patients with all phases of physical therapy treatment and techniques.
• Discuss treatment with patients and record patient conditions and responses to treatments in charts after each visit.
• Provide continuous communication with Physical Therapist, Director or Rehab, and facility staff.
• Operate and apply knowledge of standard physical therapy equipment.
