Enhance Rehabilitation in Des Plaines, IL is looking for a qualified Physical Therapy Assistant to join our dynamic team. Working under the guidance of a Physical Therapist, you will assist in treating patients according to individualized plans of care.

You will help develop and implement PT treatment programs, perform therapy techniques, document patient responses, and communicate with the PT, Rehab Director, and facility staff to ensure quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Qualified physical therapy assistant with ability to follow a plan of care.
• Strong communication with PT and staff.
• Ability to operate standard PT equipment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure every patient receives quality treatment to achieve excellent functional outcomes.
• Assist in developing and implementing PT treatment programs under the Physical Therapist.
• Assist patients with all phases of PT treatment and techniques.
• Discuss treatment with patients and record responses in charts after each visit.
• Maintain continuous communication with Physical Therapist, Director of Rehab, and facility staff.
• Operate and apply knowledge of standard physical therapy equipment.
