Job summary

Mercy Health's Eastgate Orthopedics & Spine seeks a Physical Therapist to perform initial and ongoing assessments and deliver skilled therapeutic interventions for outpatients, inpatients and pediatrics across locations. You will document progress in the patient’s electronic medical record, supervise assistants, and maintain productivity within department standards while upholding Mercy Health's values.

Licensure in the current practice state is required; BLS is preferred or required within 30

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of current practice.
• BLS certification preferred; required within 30 days for certain facilities.
• 2 years of experience in a comparable setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates patients and develops treatment plans with clear goals.
• Provides daily direct therapy and instruction to patients and families.
• Maintains accurate records in the EMR and coordinates care.
• Maintains productivity while ensuring quality care.
• Follows safety policies and completes compliance requirements.
• Supervises physical therapist assistants' interventions.
