Job summary

The Fedcap Group is seeking an experienced Performance Manager to lead one or more Opportunity Centers in Maine. You will guide a team of 6–20 staff, deliver individualized career services to TANF participants, and drive measurable job placements and stability for families.

Ideal candidates bring a bachelor’s degree in a related field and 3+ years in career services or social services, with 5+ years in supervising teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field with relevant experience.
• Experience in career services or social services, with focus on low-income populations preferred.
• Proven leadership of teams to achieve performance outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and a team of 6–20 staff across one or two centers.
• Conduct weekly data-informed supervision and performance reviews.
• Collaborate with local leaders to drive program growth and improvements.
• Represent Fedcap at external partnership events and build community connections.
• Oversee quality assurance and monthly case audits for compliance.
• Act as hiring manager and support staff development through coaching.
