Job summary

Pyramid Healthcare is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide school-based occupational therapy services under the supervision of an OT. The role supports students with IEPs, contributing to their fine motor, sensory, self-care, and classroom participation goals.

You will collect progress data, maintain documentation, and collaborate with teachers and staff to ensure access to the curriculum while upholding FERPA/HIPAA compliance and professional standards.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant from an accredited program.
• Current NBCOT certification.
• Active Pennsylvania license as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant.
• One year of experience working in pediatrics, schools, or a related setting preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver occupational therapy services as directed by the supervising OT and outlined in student IEPs.
• Implement treatment activities to improve fine motor, sensory, self-care, and school participation skills.
• Collect data and document student progress toward IEP goals.
• Provide feedback to the supervising OT on student performance and response to interventions.
• Collaborate with teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service staff to support student access to curriculum and routines.
