Catapult Learning, Inc. is hiring a Part-Time Tutor in Meriden, CT to support students in reading, mathematics, and writing with our proven curriculum. You’ll advocate for students, mentor families, and deliver instructional methods tailored to individual needs.

Responsibilities include diagnosing skill deficits, coordinating with school personnel, documenting progress, and attending trainings. Non-licensed tutors need an associate degree (or 48 semester hours) and FBI/BCI background checks;

Qualifications

• Non-licensed tutors must have an associate degree (or 48 semester hours/72 quarter hours) from an accredited institution.
• Licensed tutors must hold CT credentials recognized by the State of CT.
• Tutors must complete an FBI/BCI background check.
• Teaching experience preferred.
• Ability to navigate online platforms for record keeping and communication.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose learning skill deficits and deliver prescribed instructional methods.
• Consult with school personnel to coordinate services for students.
• Communicate and conference with parents on student progress.
• Deliver prescribed instructional delivery methods as determined by the Company.
• Attend training sessions and implement designated instructional models and strategies.
