Job summary

The instructor will teach parent-child classes, deliver quality educational experiences, and support multi-level educational programs for enrolled parents. The role works with the Parenting Education team, participates in training, coordinates facility needs,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Child Development or Early Childhood Development or related field.
• Three years’ experience teaching groups of young children.
• Or seven years teaching experience in early childhood or related area.
• Requires criminal background check.
• Ability to work with staff and students.

Responsibilities

• Participating in pre-service and in-service training offered by the Parenting Education Department.
• Use department resources and outcomes to plan educational programs for parents and children.
• Develop age-appropriate education programs for young children.
• Follow instructor orientation policies and procedures.
• Coordinate facilities, recruit students, and participate in department activities.
