Job summary

Mercy South PACU is hiring a Registered Nurse for a full-time Day shift. This role uses the nursing process to provide quality patient care and collaborates across departments to coordinate care for post-anesthesia patients.

Qualifications

• Graduated from a school of nursing (ADN, Diploma, or BSN).
• Must obtain and maintain RN license in hiring state/compact licensure.
• BLS certification or completion within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care
• Maintains accountability for provision of patient care for assigned patients
• Evaluates effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers
• Coordinates patient care with other departments
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information
