Job summary

Mercy South PACU is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for full-time day shifts. The role involves providing patient care using the nursing process, coordinating care with other departments, and upholding patient rights and confidentiality in a Mercy hospital setting.

In this position, you will evaluate care effectiveness, maintain accountability for assigned patients, and perform duties aligned with Mercy Service Standards. Education, licensure, and BLS requirements apply as listed.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in hiring state or compact licensure.
• Basic Life Support certification (BLS) or completion within 30 days of hire.
• Education: ADN, Diploma, or BSN from an approved nursing program.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains professional accountability for patient care for the assigned patients.
• Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
• Performs duties in accordance with Mercy Service Standards.
