Job summary

Mercy South PACU is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide patient care in the post-anesthesia care unit. You will apply the nursing process, protect patient rights, and coordinate care with other departments to ensure high-quality outcomes.

The role requires current RN licensure, graduation from an approved nursing program, and BLS certification (within 30 days). Mercy offers comprehensive benefits and a collaborative work environment.

Qualifications

• Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed.
• Basic Life Support certification or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Uses the nursing process to provide patient care and maintain patient rights and confidentiality.
• Evaluates overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers.
• Coordinates patient care in conjunction with other departments.
