Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and New Jersey P-3 Teacher Certification required.
• Physical exam and background checks are required.
• Travel up to 10% locally or long-distance for work-related meetings.

Responsibilities

• Implements a child-centered curriculum and learning environment for 3-5-year-olds.
• Observes, notes progress and individualizes curriculum.
• Partners with families to support children at home and in program.
• Maintains developmentally appropriate classroom experiences for all children.
• Provides print-rich environment to develop literacy and numeracy skills.
• Delivers daily lesson plans based on children's needs and interests.
• Integrates IEPs for children with disabilities.
• Ensures a consistent classroom routine and safety.
• Supervises meals as a curriculum activity and models healthy habits.
• Supervises field trips and outdoor activities.
• Assesses children regularly and informs curriculum planning.
