Job summary

Rite of Passage in Denison, TX is seeking an Overnight Youth Care Worker for Texas Monarch Academy for Girls (TMAG). You will supervise youth around the clock at a secure residential facility and support their physical, personal and health needs through counseling and skill development.

The role requires a high school diploma, being at least 21, and the ability to pass background checks, drug screens, a TB test, and a registry search.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen, physical, and TB test.
• Be able to pass a search of the child abuse central registry.

Responsibilities

• Overnight Youth Care Workers provide safety and around-the-clock in person supervision of youth at a secure residential facility.
• Provide for the physical, personal and health needs of each youth through individual counseling and skill development.
• Monitor and document behaviors and activities; participate in educational, social, athletic and recreational activities.
• Collaborate with other professional staff to establish and meet the goals of each youth's treatment plan.
