Job summary

Pinewood Springs, operated in part by HCA Healthcare, is seeking an Outpatient Therapist to deliver supervised mental health services for adults and families. The role emphasizes evidence-based individual and group therapy, treatment planning, and coordinated discharge processes.

The ideal candidate holds a Master's degree in social work or related field and may require provisional licensure. This position involves collaboration with a multidisciplinary team and ongoing post-discharge follow-up.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Masters Degree - REQUIRED
• Provisional Licensure may be REQUIRED – LPC-A/LMSW/ETC

Responsibilities

• Conducts one-on-one, group, and family psychoeducational and process groups.
• Develops treatment plans and attends treatment planning meetings and reviews on an ongoing basis.
• Assesses environment and patient’s safety status and reports/responds to actual and potential safety issues or changes in the patients condition.
• Identifies risk factors, screening criteria, and interventions for patients with special precautions (e.g., suicide, homicide, falls, elopement).
• Completes assessments, group notes, and all other documentation promptly and in compliance with requirements, as appropriate to scope.
• Collaborates with the multidisciplinary team to assess and coordinate patients’ discharge planning needs and readiness for discharge.
• Conducts post-discharge follow-up as indicated.
