Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Deliver occupational therapy services per physician orders and care plans.
• Document evaluations, treatment notes and progress reports in a timely manner.
• Supervise and support COTAs and therapy aides in line with state regulations.
• Educate residents, caregivers and staff on therapy techniques and post-discharge care.
• Participate in care planning meetings and interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Recommend adaptive equipment and assist with discharge planning.
