Job summary

Waterman Canyon Post Acute is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) to help patients regain independence. The OT will evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and support daily living activities in a post-acute setting.

The ideal candidate collaborates with an interdisciplinary team, educates patients and caregivers, and maintains precise documentation to ensure safety and measurable functional outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current Occupational Therapist license in good standing
• Experience in skilled nursing or post-acute care preferred
• Strong organizational and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized occupational therapy plans
• Help patients improve activities of daily living performance
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for holistic recovery
• Educate patients and caregivers on adaptive techniques and equipment
• Maintain compliant, accurate documentation
