Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Tech program or 6 months Surgical Tech experience.
• State Surgical Assistant or Surgical Technologist registration and BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares surgical operating suite with drapes, solutions, instruments, equipment and supplies.
• Assists with preparing, transporting, positioning and draping patients.
• Passes instruments to physician during surgery and tracks instruments and supplies.
• Receives and processes specimens for delivery to the laboratory.
