Job summary

Redwood Family Care Network in La Mesa, CA seeks a full-time Children's Group Home Administrator to assure licensing compliance, safeguard clients' health and safety, and supervise staff. The role requires coordinating with conservators and external agencies and maintaining accurate records.

Responsibilities include staffing, training, scheduling, medical coordination, on-call emergencies, and quality care with emphasis on safety and ongoing staff development.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in the field with individuals with developmental disabilities of Level 4I or higher.
• 3 years of managerial experience with an AA degree or 2 years managerial experience with a BA degree.
• GH Administrator Certification and related certifications are required per job postings.

Responsibilities

• Ensure licensing and Regional Center regulatory compliance.
• Safeguard health, safety, and well-being of clients.
• Oversee staffing levels and labor hours for efficient operations and care quality.
• Provide ongoing training, supervision, and mentorship to staff.
• Maintain open communication with conservators, family, and service coordinators.
• Coordinate medical appointments and follow-up on doctor recommendations.
• Act as first responder in emergencies and handle on-call duties.
