Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be licensed Occupational Therapist.
• CPR certification required.
• 1-2 years of long-term care experience preferred.
• Ability to perform physical requirements including lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Experience with supervision of responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide assessment, treatment and rehabilitative services to residents with injury or disability.
• Adhere to standards of physical medicine practice.
• Observe and evaluate treatment effects and discuss with staff, OTA, physician, and Director of Rehabilitation.
• Monitor and document resident treatment and response.
• Assist with teaching plan and include family in teaching as appropriate.
• Comply with facility policies and documentation standards.
