Job summary

Your Part-Time Controller, LLC (YPTC) in Princeton, NJ is seeking a part-time/remote-friendly Controller for nonprofit clients. The role involves managing multiple nonprofit client financials, ensuring controls, reporting to boards, and guiding strategic financial decisions.

Responsibilities include financial reporting, budgeting and grant management, with opportunities for professional development and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance required
• Experience leading multiple nonprofit clients or in consulting a plus
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills are essential
• Experience in a remote environment preferred
• CPA certification is a plus

Responsibilities

• Serve as outsourced Controller/CFO for multiple nonprofit clients
• Prepare financial reports for management and boards
• Recommend and implement improvements to accounting, operations, internal controls
• Handle AP/AR, payroll, month-end close, and reconciliations
• Budgeting, forecasting, grant management and funder reporting
• Support annual audits and staff training
