Job summary

National FFA is a prominent nonprofit organization shaping youth leadership and agricultural education. The Chief Financial and Administrative Officer (CFAO) will partner with the CEO and Board to steer financial strategy, governance, and risk management across the National FFA Organization and Foundation.

We seek a seasoned financial leader with nonprofit expertise, GAAP knowledge, and a track record of guiding large teams in a complex environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; advanced degree/CPA preferred.
• 10+ years of broad financial management experience in nonprofit sector.
• Experience with GAAP, governance support, fundraising software, and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide financial reporting and strategic analysis to leadership and boards.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial controls for the Organization and Foundation.
• Lead enterprise risk management and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Supervise accounting, IT, HR, and merchandising functions; manage costs.
• Support governance and board operations with timely materials.
