Qualifications

• Six months of nursing experience or Nurse Residency participation.

Responsibilities

• Collect comprehensive data about the patient’s health or situation.
• Perform age- and disease-specific assessments.
• Identify clinical and diagnostic status changes.
• Develop and implement a plan of care.
• Coordinate and communicate the plan with the care team.
• Maintain ongoing communication with patient and family.
• Administer medications with bar-scanning technology.
• Evaluate progress toward outcomes.
• Initiate interventions during changes in condition.
• Adhere to the ANA Code for Nurses.
