Job summary

IntelliResume's client Hackensack Meridian Health seeks a Registered Nurse for the night shift in Hackensack, NJ. You will provide direct patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team, perform comprehensive data collection and disease-specific assessments, and promote patient safety.

You will educate patients and families, coordinate a care plan, administer meds with advanced scanning tech, and document outcomes in line with protocols.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing or Diploma of Nursing is required.
• Six months of relevant nursing experience or Nurse Residency Program.
• Current RN License in New Jersey required by date of hire.
• BLS/CPR certification by American Heart Association required within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health or situation.
• Perform age and disease-specific assessments independently.
• Recognize clinical and diagnostic status changes in patient status.
• Identify patient/family education needs based on age and disease.
• Develop and coordinate a patient/family-focused plan of care.
• Communicate and implement the plan of care effectively.
• Provide ongoing communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Administer medications utilizing advanced bar-scanning technologies.
• Evaluate progress toward attainment of patient outcomes.
• Adhere to established protocols and document events accurately.
