Job summary

IntelliResume seeks a Registered Nurse for per diem night shifts at Hackensack Meridian Health in Hackensack, NJ. The role focuses on direct patient care within an interdisciplinary team, collecting data and implementing a care plan.

The ideal candidate will have an Associate Degree in Nursing or a diploma (BSN preferred) and at least 6 months of nursing experience or Nurse Residency involvement. Current NJ RN license and BLS/CPR are required within 60 days.

Qualifications

• Associate in Nursing or diploma of Nursing degree required; BSN in progress preferred.
• Six (6) months of relevant nursing experience or participation in Nurse Residency Program.

Responsibilities

• Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health or situation.
• Perform age and disease specific assessment/data collection independently.
• Recognize clinical and diagnostic status changes in patient status.
• Develop a plan of care that prescribes strategies and interventions.
• Communicate, coordinate, and implement the plan of care.
• Provide ongoing communication with patient/family and healthcare team.
• Implement age and disease specific care in an organized manner.
• Perform continuous Point-of-Care electronic documentation.
• Administer medications utilizing advancements in bar-scanning technology.
• Evaluate progress toward attainment of outcomes.

Education
