AdventHealth in Orange City, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse for obstetrical/perinatal care. The role involves holistic patient assessment, care planning, medication administration, and collaborative teamwork with interdisciplinary staff on a night shift.

The ideal candidate holds an Associate's Degree in Nursing (Bachelor's preferred) and current RN, BLS, and ACLS certifications, with obstetric/perinatal experience preferred.

Formación

• Strong communication, delegation, coordination and evaluation skills.
• Proficient in Windows-based programs.
• Prior hospital/perinatal nursing experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Conducts thorough, ongoing assessments of patients and develops individualized, evidence-based plans of care.
• Administers medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring patient safety and protocol adherence.
• Documents actions and maintains accurate handoffs and patient records.
• Educates patients and families on health conditions, procedures, and care plans.
• Maintains compliance with regulatory standards and safety policies; participates in quality and safety initiatives.
• Advocates for patients and promotes a positive patient experience.
