Job summary

Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking a Newborn Hearing Screen Technician to perform on-site hearing screens in hospital settings. You will gain on-the-job training and annual American Academy of Audiology accredited certification, supporting early detection of hearing loss in newborns.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current CPR certification or must obtain upon offer.
• Flexibility to work on weekends and national holidays.

Responsibilities

• Screen newborns for hearing in hospital settings with safe, efficient workflows.
• Collect data and demographics; document results per protocol.
• Educate families on the screening purpose and results.
• Notify supervisor of missed or referred babies and schedule follow-ups.
• Upload screen results and state reporting by end of each shift.
