Job summary

Kidney seeks a Nurse Practitioner (NP) to provide direct patient care in a specialty clinic setting with delegated prescriptive authority and physician collaboration. The role involves credentialing and privileging within the healthcare system and is billable as an independent provider per Medicare/Medicaid guidelines.

The NP will conduct comprehensive exams, manage lab tests, prescribe therapies, and develop outcomes-based treatment plans.

Qualifications

• Education: Grad of an Accredited Program.
• Experience: Less than 1 year of experience.
• Certification/License/Registration: NP and RN; BLS within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess physical and mental condition; obtain histories.
• Order, interpret labs and tests; evaluate health care needs.
• Prescribe therapies and perform procedures per protocol.
• Formulate and implement outcomes-based treatment plans with physicians.
• Counsel patients and families on medical processes, medications, and lifestyle.
