Job summary

Infinite Medical P.C. is seeking a Nephrology Nurse Practitioner to deliver comprehensive kidney care in skilled nursing and dialysis settings. This part-time position emphasizes collaboration with a nephrology team to provide patient-centered management for acute and chronic kidney conditions.

The ideal candidate will have nephrology or dialysis experience, TX NP license, board certification, and the ability to work independently while coordinating with physicians and facility staff.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited NP program.
• Current and unrestricted NP license in Texas.
• Current national board certification as a NP.
• Current DEA registration, if required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nephrology-focused assessments and ongoing management for patients with kidney disease.
• Evaluate patients, develop treatment plans, and manage nephrology-related conditions with the nephrology team.
• Monitor dialysis treatment plans, adequacy, tolerance, and patient outcomes.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, review histories, and conduct examinations.
• Interpret labs and studies to support individualized treatment plans.
• Coordinate care with physicians, nursing staff, dialysis technicians, and facility teams.
• Educate patients and families about kidney disease, dialysis, medications, and lifestyle.
