Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a full-time sign language interpreter to support students and educators across multiple school sites in Washington state. The role focuses on ensuring access to instruction and activities for deaf or hard-of-hearing students throughout the day.

Qualifications

• Must have proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL).
• Previous interpreting experience in K-12 settings is highly preferred.
• Compliance with state and national certification standards for sign language interpreting.

Responsibilities

• Interpret classroom instruction, discussions, and events for deaf or hard of hearing students.
• Facilitate communication between students, teachers, and peers in academic and non-academic settings.
• Travel between multiple school sites as assigned to provide consistent support.
• Participate in meetings, trainings, and conferences as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality and display professionalism in all interactions.
