Qualifications

• 2+ years of lead teaching experience as a special education teacher in an urban public school with a record of high student achievement highly preferred
• Bachelor’s degree from a competitive college or university required. Concentration or advanced degree in education preferred.

Responsabilités

• Lead Special Education instruction for 4th–8th grade within DC Prep.
• Collaborate with general education teachers to implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and differentiated instruction.
• Support students’ academic growth, SEL development, and engagement within a high-expectations context.
