Job summary

Truist is seeking a Middle Market Credit Delivery Analyst to support underwriting and portfolio management for commercial banking clients. You will analyze borrower financials, assess industry risks, and prepare credit memoranda under supervision.

You will work with Associates, VP, and SVP-level teammates to develop underwriting skills, adhere to credit policy, and contribute to client management and retention activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 0-1+ years of related financial services work experience.
• Solid analytical and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed financial analysis of borrower financial statements, projections, cash flow, leverage, liquidity, and repayment capacity.
• Assess industry trends, business models, competitive dynamics, and key risks affecting borrower performance.
• Prepare credit memoranda with transaction structure, risk assessment, mitigants, and clear credit recommendations.
• Conduct periodic financial reviews, covenant testing, risk rating updates, and borrower performance assessments.
• Respond to internal and external information requests related to portfolio accounts and credit transactions.
• Produce portfolio monitoring reports, stress tests, risk dashboards, and credit exposure analyses.
• Assist with ad hoc analyses related to portfolio trends, industry concentrations, and credit quality metrics.
• Maintain data accuracy across credit systems and reporting tools.
