Job summary

Ivy Park at Oakland Hills, part of Oakmont Management Group, is seeking an Activity Coordinator for Memory Care to plan and execute engaging activities and excursions that enhance residents’ independence and quality of life. You will support the Memory Care Director and lead events across the Traditions Memory Care area.

Ideal candidates have experience coordinating activities for seniors and strong PC/MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prefer one (1) year of experience coordinating or teaching activities with seniors.
• Requires current Class C driver license to transport residents (Class B preferred).
• Able to operate a personal computer and be proficient in MS Office programs (Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint, etc.).
• Vaccination/health and safety requirements per regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist Memory Care Director in providing a rewarding social atmosphere with activities, excursions, and events.
• Promote resident participation through regular high-quality activities and clubs.
• Communicate effectively and with tact with residents, families, visitors, and staff.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment following safety standards.
• Able to drive community vehicles.
• Encourage teamwork across departments.
