Job summary

MBK Senior Living is seeking a Medication Technician in Huntington Beach to document, deliver and administer medicines to residents as prescribed by physicians, with superior customer service and in compliance with policies and regulations.

Role is full-time, with AM/PM shifts (AM 6:00AM–2:30PM; PM 2:00PM–10:30PM). Must read, write and speak English and be HIPAA compliant; strong teamwork and professional conduct are expected.

Qualifications

• Age 18 or over or valid work permit.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English.
• HIPAA compliance as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily medications, treatments and care as assigned.
• Observe and document medication ingestion or application.
• Coordinate medication services with residents, pharmacy and physicians.
• Prepare medications for distribution up to 24 hours in advance.
• Assist in daily living activities and ensure resident safety.
• Document information and respond to resident alerts promptly.
