Job summary

MBK Senior Living in Villa Park, CA seeks a Medication Technician to document, deliver and administer medicines with superior customer service. This full-time role on PM shift (2pm–10:30pm) offers a supportive team and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience handling medications preferred but on-the-job training available.
• Must read, write and speak English.
• HIPAA compliance is required at all times.
• Ability to follow oral and written directions precisely.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily medications and treatments.
• Observe, verify and document medication ingestion or application.
• Notify supervisor if meds are not administered as directed.
• Maintain confidential medication records per procedures.
• Coordinate medication services with pharmacy and physician.
• Track orders and prepare medications in advance as needed.
• Participate in narcotic counts at shift start/end and report discrepancies.
• Assist with daily living activities and resident comfort as needed.
• Respond to resident needs promptly while maintaining dignity and safety.
