Qualifications

• Experience submitting, correcting, and resubmitting claims.
• Knowledge of billing lifecycle from authorization to reimbursement.
• Familiarity with Maryland Medicaid billing preferred.
• Proficiency with Excel, Outlook, and Word.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end claims process from submission to reimbursement.
• Perform quality checks on billing activity before transmission.
• Investigate denials and coordinate corrective actions to maximize collections.
• Coordinate documentation with clinical/operational teams.
• Verify coverage, authorizations, and payer eligibility.
• Maintain billing records, payments, and reporting in the EHR system.
• Support revenue cycle operations through claims follow-up and reimbursement tracking.
• Generate routine billing and productivity reports using Excel.
