Responsibilities

• Manages Epic work queues daily to ensure accurate billing and expeditious claims follow-up.
• Ensures timely submission of all claims within assigned financial classes; follows up on claims.
• Investigates claim denials or rejections and initiates appeals as needed.
• Enters and posts payments; reconciles accounts for under/overpayments.
• Responds to patient and insurer inquiries via phone, email, or mail.
• Maintains thorough billing records for audits and compliance with regulations.
