Qualifications

• Must have graduated from an accredited School of Nursing and hold current LPN licensure in the state of employment.
• One year of long-term care clinical nursing experience required.
• Experience with Medicare/Medicaid reimbursement, MDS completion, and case management is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and complete clinical assessments and supporting documentation.
• Manage Medicare/Medicaid case-mix documents to assure appropriate reimbursement.
• Conduct concurrent MDS reviews to maximize RUG categories.
• Educate the interdisciplinary team on case-mix terminology and MDS requirements.
