Job summary

Emerald in Omaha, NE seeks a Temporary LTC Business Office Manager to ensure the financial integrity of billing and invoicing, working closely with the administration team to resolve discrepancies and manage resident trust accounts.

You will oversee timely admissions billing, PASARR screenings, government payor coverage, Medicaid/Medicare/VA/Hospice billing, monthly SNF close, budgeting, and policy enforcement within the department.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Accounting, Healthcare Administration, or Business Management.
• Knowledge of accounts receivable, basic accounting, and third-party billing.
• Healthcare billing experience in SNF/assisted living preferred.

Responsibilities

• Timely establish financial accountability at every admission
• PASARR screenings
• Resolve pending cases for government payor coverage
• Bill Medicaid & Medicare for all covered services provided
• Bill VA and Hospice for all covered services provided
• Monthly close of SNF books
• Manage resident trust accounts
• Effectively manage budgeting, performance and policies within the department
